The mission of the �鶹��ý��վ Libraries is to build and maintain collections of quality, in traditional and digital formats, through the selection and management of library resources required to support the University's programs of teaching, learning and research. We strive for equity, diversity and inclusion materials in our collections.

�鶹��ý��վ Libraries cannot accommodate requests for personal and non-academic use, or requests submitted on behalf of non-�鶹��ý��վ clientele. Needs of this nature might be met by your local public library, like Montreal’s Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) .

�鶹��ý��վ is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. The �鶹��ý��վ Libraries recognize the harm that cultural heritage organizations, as colonial institutions, have inflicted on Indigenous peoples. We are committed to the ongoing process of reconciliation as a way to begin to right these wrongs.
