Paul Koosis was an internationally recognized expert in harmonic analysis and function theory, as well as a truly unique and inspiring human being. The term “classical analysis” was chosen by Paul himself for the conference organized in his honor at the CRM in 2003. He passed away in Montreal in July 2025.
