The Black History Month (BHM) Planning Collective of the School of Population and Global Health invites the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ community to a salsa workshop.ÌýThis event will serve to shed light on the history and context for one of the most popular dances currently, salsa. Taught by Gabrielle Jacob, a current PhD student in the department, the salsa dance class will include the Afro-Cuban origins of salsa and a basic class on one of the styles of salsa, Salsa on2, created in New York City.

This event is open to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ students, faculty members, staff, and alumni.Ìý
