Dr. Fran莽ois Therriault-Proulx is a physicist, entrepreneur, and an expert in optical dosimetry. He holds a bachelor's in engineering physics, a master's in neurobiology, and a PhD in physics from Universit茅 Laval. He is the co-founder and CEO of Medscint, a Quebec-based company developing optical-photonic measurement听tools to improve quality assurance in radiotherapy cancer treatments.
Under his leadership, MedScint has received multiple accolades, including first prize at D茅fi OSEntreprendre and finalist recognition at the 2022 ADRIQ Innovation Awards. Dr. Therriault-Proulx has authored over 25 scientific publications, holds two patents, and has received prestigious awards such as the J.R. Cunningham Young Investigator Award (COMP) and Best in Physics (AAPM).
