The Art of Orthosis Fabrication: Advanced Level Techniques for Occupational Therapists

This full-day workshop is designed for occupational therapists and motivated students seeking advanced training in orthosis fabrication. Participants will receive demonstrations and hands-on experience in fabricating static progressive and dynamic upper extremity orthoses, as well as a static elbow orthosis. The selected projects expose participants to a range of thermoplastic materials and dynamic and static progressive orthosis components.

A basic understanding of orthotic fabrication, such as that obtained during professional degree education, is sufficient. Beginner level experience in orthotic fabrication is helpful but not essential.

Cost:

Clinicians: 345.00
Students: 185.00Ìý

Cost includes all materials, lunch, and coffee breaks.
