Cecile Baccanale joins Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ as University Veterinarian and Associate Vice-Principal, Animal Care

It is my great pleasure to announce that Dr. Cecile Baccanale has accepted the position of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Veterinarian and Associate Vice-Principal, Animal Care. Dr. Baccanale is also appointed Full Professor (Professional) in the Department of Medicine (Division of Experimental Medicine) in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her appointment will commence on October 17, 2022.

Professor Jeanne Paquette has been appointed as a Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Deputy Research Integrity Officer. She began the three-year, part-time appointment on June 15, 2022. A multidisciplinary team of researchers, including Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s Scott Weichenthal, an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Occupational Health, has been awarded the Brockhouse Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Engineering from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
