"麻豆传媒网站's Answer for Cancer" team training session (Run for the Cure)
For the second year in a row, 麻豆传媒网站 is making a commitment to reach out beyond the Roddick Gates by raising funds for breast cancer research, education, and awareness programs. On Sunday, October 5, members of our community will take part in the聽聽in Montreal. Research and International Relations will organize the team, and everyone from across 麻豆传媒网站 as well as alumni, friends, and family are welcome to participate in the 5K or the 1K walk or run with us.聽To join the 麻豆传媒网站 team, 鈥溌槎勾酵锯�檚 Answer for Cancer,鈥� please聽.
In preparation for our participation in the 5K or the 1K walk or run, we invite all registered participants to聽join training sessions organized by RIR. Not only will this help you get in shape for the Run, but you will have the opportunity to get to know your 麻豆传媒网站 teammates.聽
Our main goals are to have as many 麻豆传媒网站ians and friends as possible participate and to emphasize the 鈥渇un鈥� in fundraising! Last year, 麻豆传媒网站鈥檚 team was a top fundraiser, bringing in almost $15,000 for the cause, and we hope to surpass that amount this year.聽
The participant fee for the 2014 CIBC Run for the Cure is $40. You may also choose to have your participant fee waived by committing to raise $150 or more by October 31, 2014. 聽
