James Gazetas completed his high school studies at Coll猫ge Jean-de-Br茅beuf and is now starting his second year of CEGEP at Coll猫ge Jean-de-Br茅beuf in the Health Sciences Program to complete his seven years at the school.
Born with a distinct curiosity, James鈥� academic interests were primarily science centered. He even came third after signing in last minute to the school鈥檚 local chemistry competition (2017).
Aside聽from academics, James鈥� passion is usually centered around sports (hockey, soccer, basketball and others) and people. He volunteered at the Neurological Institute of Montreal passing with a cart to talk to patients in the hopes of lifting their spirits and giving them something to look forward聽to everyday. He also volunteers at least twice a week at his school nursery.
His task at the Douglas will primarily consist of聽familiarizing himself with the hypothalamic-pituitary region and previous research concerning the Ice storm Project, data-entry and segmenting the pituitary under the supervision of PhD Sherri Lee Jones.
