Health Professional Students

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs Office seeks to expand research opportunities for qualified and interested health profession students. The Office coordinates research opportunities across the Faculty, including the Anatomy Prosection Project and the Research Bursary Programs. Our health profession students can engage in biomedical, clinical and outcomes research in all disciplines.

Research provides the opportunity for our students to

  • Learn by doing
  • Increase confidence in scholarly abilities
  • Develop teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Build a portfolio of research experiences

Administered by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Banting Postdoctoral Fellows Program aims to attract and retain both top-tier national and international postdoctoral students.
