The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences holds an annual open competition for junior and senior career awards: the Canada Research Chairs (Tier 1 and Tier 2), James Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Professorships (JMP) and William Dawson Scholar awards (WDS). The Faculty competition identifies a pool of candidates from which nominees are selected for the central University competitions as they occur over the academic year.
