Accommodation Policy

The Undergraduate Medical Admissions Office is also committed to ensuring access to our medical programs by providing appropriate accommodations for candidates with functional limitation(s) or learning needs.  We strive to make appropriate, timely, and carefully considered accommodations during the multiple mini-interviews on a case-by-case basis. 

Process to request an accommodation for the virtual Multiple Mini Interviews (vMMIs)

If you have functional limitation(s) or learning needs that may affect your ability to participate in the vMMIs (including colourblindess), you may request an accommodation (view detailed procedure here).Ìý

If invited or waitlisted for an interview, you must submit your request and supporting documents within 3 days of receiving your invitation or waitlist notification (see target date for invitations).ÌýBe sure to prepare in advance; documents from a healthcare professional or cégep/university disability accommodation service are required.

  • Professional Attestation form For Healthcare providers to complete and for candidates to upload to the Applicant Portal, who do not have a letter of prior accommodation from their cégep or university.
  • Example copy MS form to consult when applying prior to invitation to interview. The link to the actual MS form to upload the documentation and officially submit the request, will be provided to candidates in the interview invitation letter or interview waitlist notification.
