Fellowship for Indigenous Students
The final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (2016) issued a number of Calls to Action, including requests to build capacity in post-secondary education for Indigenous peoples and to commemorate and investigate Indigenous history. The Department would like to create a Fellowship for Indigenous Students to pursue an MA or a PhD at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾. This initiative complements Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s recent creation of an Indigenous Studies Program and its ongoing commitment to integrating Indigenous perspectives and experiences in all facets of Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s academic mission.
