Wednesday, October 23, 2019 16:00to17:00
Purvis Hall Room 25, 1020 avenue des Pins Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 1A2, CA

Hannah Cooper will present on novel ways that her organization, Cooper/Smith, is using data to inform decision-making:

  • across large-scale health systems projects in Malawi and Burkina Faso (funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Digital Impact Alliance);
  • in efforts redefining HIV prevention metrics with Georgetown University and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine,
  • and in advisory work with Global Fund, the World Bank, and the US Government.

Students will be able to ask questions about the technical approaches and tools used, experiences working in global health, and anything else of interest!

Please RSVP with kristin.hendricks [at] mcgill.ca (Kristin Hendricks)

Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
