FACULTY of ENGINEERING Course Registration Form - Freshman Math & Science, and Faculty Courses ONLY

Please note that this form is only for course registration for the below mentioned courses and for the Summer 2026 term only and replaces the Course Authorization Form (emails will not be accepted). Please allow a minimum of 4-5 working days for processing. An email will be sent to each student informing them of the decision and how they can register if the request is approved.

    Overrides for lecture/labs/tutorials that are fullÌý(error message reserved closed) will be not considered until April 27, 2026. Any forms submitted before April 27 for capacity issues will not be reviewed. Students should continue to attempt to register as there is constant fluctuation in courses.

Freshman Math and Science courses:

If you have received a grade of D in the pre-requisite course, an classschedule.engineering [at] mcgill.ca (email) will need to be sent to the Class SchedulerÌýby the instructor of the course stating that they are confident you can pass the course despite a D grade in the pre-requisite. Students that received a grade of F must complete the course before moving forward.

For Bioresource Engineering Students, please contact your Academic Advisor directly to register for the following CHEM, PHYS, and MATH courses.

Engineering Faculty courses:

  • FACC 100 -Ìýopen to B.Eng. students only - no exceptionsÌý
  • FACC 220
  • FACC 250
    • U0/new U1 students are not eligible to register for this course
    • American students withÌýDirect Loans mustÌýregister in 002
    • Bioresource students must register for section 003
  • FACC 300 - U0/new U1 students are not eligible to register for this course. Graduating students, please complete the FACC 300 course authorization form to register.
  • FACC 400 - U0/new U1 students are not eligible to register for this course. Graduating students, please complete the FACC 400 course authorization form to register.

  • WCOM 206 - studentsÌýgraduating in Summer 2026 or Software Coop Engineering students in U0/U,Ìýplease completeÌýWCOM 206 Capacity Registration FormÌýto register.

Forms submitted for full courses will not be reviewed or accepted until the review period from March 3,Ìý2026 until the add/drop deadline (4th scheduled class).

Capacity Errors will be accepted from April 27, 2026 until the add/drop deadline (4th scheduled class).
