Killam Lecture was established in 2004 to recognize women of influence in business, science, politics or the humanities.ÌýEve Marder, Victor and Gwendolyn Beinfield Professor of Biology at Brandeis University, will deliver the 2026 Dorothy J. For the very first time, we are dedicating an entire day to advancing knowledge on focal cortical dysplasia in epilepsy—exploring it across every level, from molecular mechanisms to systems. The program will include two keynote lectures to set the stage, dedicated trainee sessions with posters and oral presentations, and the highlight of the day, the Pierre Gloor Lecture, delivered by Stéphanie Baulac (Inserm, Paris Brain Institute), a leading expert in the genetics of epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders.
