Sara Houshmand, doctoral student in Counselling Psychology, Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, received Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s inaugural Award for Equity and Community Building! This Award recognizes staff and students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to diversity and inclusivity at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ and the community-at-large.

Sara has previously served as Equity Commissioner of Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s Post Graduate Students’ Society. Sara’s research interests pertain to multicultural counselling psychology and social justice in higher education.
