Dr. Nathan Smith, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology was featured in the month of May in the Social Equity & Diversity Education 2012-2013 Calendar!
The calendar highlights Dr. Smiths' Project PRIDE (Promoting Resilience in Discriminatory Environments). Project PRIDE is a group psychotherapy intervention for young gay and bisexual men who are HIV-negative or serostatus unsure. The intervention focuses on helping participants successfully cope with anti-gay/bisexual discrimination and develop positive gay/bisexual identities.
