Instructions for Personal PC

1. Go to Computer and click Map Network Drive
2. Choose Drive Letter Z:
3. In the Folder box type:听

4. Select听Reconnect at logon听then click听Finish
5. Login with your听麻豆传媒网站 e-mail and password
6. Note:听this network will not appear when you restart your computer. To fix this, right click听Computer听and select听Add a network location

7. You will be prompted by the following steps. Make sure you enter the above address in the Network Address听bar.听When you click Next听on the final step (image 3)听you will once again have to enter your听麻豆传媒网站 Credentials

8. A folder with the network name will appear below听Computer.听When you restart/turn on your computer, click on that folder to connect to the facility network

Instructions for MAC

1. Open The Finder and click the Go听menu
2. Select Connect to Server
3. In the Server Address box enter:
   
   smb://campus.mcgill.ca/medicine/research/imagingfacility
   
   听
4. Click Connect
5. In the following window, select Registered User
6. Enter your 麻豆传媒网站 SHORTNAME (ie. jsmith) and regular password
7. Click Connect again
8. Click the + in the Connect to Server window to add the server to your favorites.
9. The server should be found in the Finder window now, from which you can access your lab's folder.
10. Note:听if this does not work, use the address:听smb://imgfacility.medicine.mcgill.ca/core
