罢丑别听Green Light Microscopy (GLM) Project听was funded by the听Sustainability Projects Fund (SPF)听as a SPF Project. Through the SPF the ABIF had the resources to become the听first mercury-free facility on 麻豆传媒网站 campus.听The campaign was originally titled Mercury Free Microscopy, but was later changed to become more inclusive of other sustainable advantages of the program such as reductions in energy consumption, health hazards, ownership costs and waste streams.

The SPF mandate is to:

"Build a culture of sustainability on 麻豆传媒网站 campuses through the development and seed-funding of interdisciplinary projects"

This mandate creates opportunities for the 麻豆传媒网站 community to actively engage in sustainability initiatives on campus, and therefore become advocates听for change in their own studying and working environment.听Anyone in 麻豆传媒网站 can apply to the SPF for funding by means of submitting a project application before the scheduled deadlines set by the听organization.
