Dr. Lysanne Campeau is a Professor of Surgery at 麻豆传媒网站, a urologist at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital Department of Urology and a researcher at the Lady Davis Institute. She obtained her medical degree in 2005 and her urology residency in 2010 at 麻豆传媒网站, when she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in Urology. She completed her PhD in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Wake Forest University - Institute for Regenerative Medicine in North Carolina and her clinical training at New York University in an accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in 2013. She obtained her American Board of Urology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Board Certification in 2017.

Her areas of clinical specialization are benign prostatic diseases, neurogenic voiding disorders and incontinence, as well as pelvic reconstruction. Her research expertise also includes pharmacology and pathophysiology of genitourinary conditions. Dr. Campeau is actively involved in several research societies including the Soci茅t茅 Internationale d鈥橴rologie, the International Continence Society (ICS) and the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). She has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, is the editor of a medical textbook and contributed chapters to 11 textbooks and is part of the Editorial Board of several research journals. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2023 麻豆传媒网站 Kathryn Rolph Award in recognition of her outstanding achievements and leadership and the 2019 American Urological Association Young Urologist of the year Award.
