 nd entrepreneur. Haven was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2
 022\, establishing the first PlayStation Studio in Canada. Jade is best kn
 own for helping create the Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs franchises\, fo
 unding Ubisoft Toronto and EA Motive\, and was Vice President at Google. J
 ade has focused her career on driving innovation in action-adventure and o
 nline multiplayer games while continuously supporting the advancement of w
 omen and youth in the industry.\n	\n	The talk will take the form of a discus
 sion between Jade Raymond and moderator Prof. Joelle Pineau (SOCS-Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ a
 nd VP of AI Research at Meta). Topics being discussed will include Raymond
 ’s career path\, advice to computer scientists in training and future entr
 epreneurs\, as well as challenges faced by underrepresented groups (esp. w
 omen) in computer science and ways to address systemic barriers. The talk
