 )\, for a Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) walk on Mount Royal. Forest Bathin
 g helps us slow down\, open our senses and follow our curiosities. What a 
 great way to take a nourishing break\, recharge and celebrate winter. This
  activity is part of Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s Biodiversity Plan 2030.\n\nFor Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ studen
 ts. Meet on the front steps of the Education Building (3700 McTavish St.) 
 at 9:50 am to check in. We’ll be leaving at 10:00 sharp.\n\nRegistration i
 s required by Jan. 21st. Space is limited so please register only if you c
 an attend and please honour your commitment. \n\nDetails:\n\n\n	This sessio
 n is being offered free of charge (a value of $25/person) to students by S
 cience Outreach at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾.\n	There will be no bathrooms on the walk so plea
 se plan ahead. There are bathrooms available in Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s Education Buildin
 g at the start of the walk.\n	Bring a water bottle filled with water\, walk
 ing poles and crampons if needed (please check the trail conditions on the
  Mount Royal site)\, hand/toe warmers if needed and a small waterproof mat
  or folding tripod stool if you have one so that you can sit at different 
 moments. We will also have small mats to share with you if needed. \n	Dress
  warmly for the weather and in layers\, as we'll be moving slowly and expl
 oring the snow: we strongly recommend snow pants or other warm pants\, woo
 l sweater layered over a warm shirt\, wool tuque\, wool socks\, warm mitte
 ns and warm boots for walking on snow and possibly ice – uphill and downhi
 ll. See the trail conditions on the Mount Royal website: for your safety\,
  crampons are strongly recommended if it's icy.\n		\n		For everyone's safety\,
  this walk will be postponed in the case of extreme cold\, freezing rain o
 r heavy snow/rain.\n		\n		Your participation will be confirmed January 22nd.\n
