 an eating behaviour is complex and influenced by many biological and socia
 l factors. The modern day food environment poses challenges for healthful 
 eating\, particularly for individuals with biological traits to prefer mor
 e palatable foods. My research evaluates how biological factors interact t
 ogether with exposures in the food environment to influence eating behavio
 ur. Themes of genetics\, food cue responsiveness\, taste\, and the retail 
 food environment will be discussed. Findings from my work will be used to 
 design innovative\, more individualized strategies to improve eating habit
 s and manage body weight.\n\n\nAbout STARS\n\nSTARS (Scientists Talk About
