At the April 22 conciliation session, and at the recommendation of the conciliator, the University presented a global offer to the union.

The offer addressed outstanding non鈥憁onetary items and, for the first time in this round of bargaining, set out the University鈥檚 monetary proposal. This monetary proposal was not presented as a final offer. The global offer also introduced certain new items for discussion, as they have monetary implications and were brought forward as part of the monetary package. The global offer was intended to consolidate outstanding matters and support continued progress toward a negotiated agreement.

The parties remain in conciliation, with the next meeting scheduled for May 6.
