SciLearn Peer Collaboration
SciLearn Peer Collaboration ("the Peer Collab")听is a space for undergraduate students in Science courses to learn collaboratively with the support of teaching assistants (TAs), undergraduate peer mentors (TEAM students), and course instructors. For the Fall 2025 term, the Peer Collab will be open听weekdays 3-5 PM, September 15-December 3 in the Burnside Hall Basement (room 1B18).
At the Peer Collab, students are invited to:
- Attend course-specific sessions: Meet and learn with peers in 10+ Science courses each semester. TAs, TEAM students, and course instructors听are present to guide听you and answer your questions, as you work on听homework and prepare for assessments. View the course schedule, as course-specific sessions alternate daily.
- Participate in open study sessions: BYOF(riends) or make new ones in this self-directed space, open听every day.
- Take a break in the chill space: Enjoy free hot drinks and relaxing activities (e.g. puzzles, colouring, cards, etc.) before returning to studying. Breaks are important for learning, so this space is open every day.

You can find our welcome desk outside the Burnside Hall basement, room 1B18. Begin your visit at the welcome desk so that our team can direct you to your space of choice!
Burnside Hall basement room 1B18 can be accessed via the听north or south entrances to Burnside Hall. Once in the building, please proceed to the stairs or elevator and descend one floor to the basement. When exiting the elevators, the welcome desk is straight ahead and to the left. When exiting the stairwells, please follow building signage to reach room 1B18. The north entrance to Burnside Hall has automatic, power-operated doors and there is an elevator to the space. Gender-inclusive, accessible bathrooms are available on the same floor in rooms 1B-WC1 and 1B-WC2. The space is not scent- or allergen-free, and rooms are lit by artificial light.听There is public (麻豆传媒网站) wifi available and outlets for charging electronic devices.
