Montreal Gazette reporter Harry North found, Lyft was cheaper 8 times out of ten in Montreal. One reason for the difference is that Lyft is still relatively new in Montreal. Uber has been operating in Montreal for about a decade, but Lyft only started doing business in here in 2025.
