DESCRIPTION:MORSL is pleased to partner with the School of Global Citizenry
  to offer a special intensive course designed to guide students to connect
  with wild nature as a part of their spiritual formation journey. Using as
  a base an online curriculum called Spiritual Formation in the Wild\, deve
 loped by teacher and wilderness guide Aram Mitchell\, MORSL is accompanyin
 g a student cohort through the three core modules that include short video
 s\, grounding exercises\, readings\, and outdoor activities. Through the m
 aterials\, students will survey the many benefits and methods of nature co
 nnection as they deepen their own relationship with the natural world. In 
 addition to exploring the online materials\, the MORSL student cohort expe
 rience offers a community of Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ students who are journeying together\,

 chedule: March 4-6\, 2026\, 9am-4pm\, at MORSL and via Zoom \n\nEach day w
 ill include: \n\n\n	Introduction to a theme \n	Poem or reading to contextual
 ize the theme \n	Short videos presenting perspectives from various thinkers
  \n	Journaling \n	Outdoor activity \n	Reflection discussion \n	Closing meditat
 ion (approx. 5 minutes) \n	Snacks\n	This course includes materials delivered
  online (video\, audio\, discussion board). Students will have the opportu
 nity to engage with materials asynchronously throughout the program.  \n\n
 \nEligibility requirements for bursary:  \n\nStudents who register may be 
 eligible for an award of $125 CAD to offset the program registration fee i
 f they meet all of the following criteria*:  \n\n\n	Register via myInvolvem
 ent for this event and receive confirmation from MORSL\, using your Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾
  student email. \n	Be currently registered for at least one 3-credit course
 .\n	Have direct deposit set up in your student account to receive the MORSL
  award. \n	Register and pay for the program via the host website by March 2
 . \n	Meet all the participation requirements\, including:\n\n\n\n	Attend all
  3 sessions (in person or online attendance required) \n	Complete the 3 wri
 ting activities (short responses to discussion prompts each day) \n	Produce
  a final reflection piece (short essay\, photo collage\, poem\, art\, etc.
 )  \n\n\n*Note that the award is only granted after program completion\, i
 f all condition are met. \n
