  loved one with dementia. \n\nNutrition and Dementia \n\nGuylaine Ferland\
 , PhD\, is a professor of nutrition at Université de Montréal and a scient
 ist at the Research Centre of the Montreal Heart Institute. Dr. Ferland co
 nducts research on the general role of nutrition in cognitive health durin
 g aging. She is an expert in vitamin K metabolism and her team has made si
 gnificant contributions to understanding the role of this nutrient in brai
 n function and cognition.  \n\nShe will speak about nutrition and dementia
 \, including how to ensure proper nutrition for people living with dementi
 a\, and what we know about the benefits of doing so. \n\nThis English webc
