Join us for an exciting evening of discussion.

In an age of information overload, how can we distinguish reality from fiction? How can we use media communication platforms as effective tools for public awareness and policy communication in the public interest?

This discussion will focus on the forces shaping the current media landscape and how traditional and social media influence public perception, amplify misinformation, and fuel public debate, both globally and within the evolving Canadian and Quebec contexts. Participants will explore issues related to media literacy, as well as the responsibilities and challenges faced by journalists, communicators, and citizens in navigating a digital ecosystem marked by political, social, and technological uncertainty.
