As our lives become more digitally med iated\, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic\, rates of online violen ce have significantly increased. This lecture will provide an overview of the various forms of TFGBV and the existing laws that addre ss them. It will then examine potential avenues for legal reform\, includi ng more responsive options for victims/survivors of non-consensual distrib ution of intimate images and the regulation of social media content modera tion. \n\nBio\n\nAssistant Professor Suzie Dunn\, Civil\, Criminal\, and A dministrative Solutions to Technology-Facilitated Violence\n\nSuzie Dunn i s an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law.
