UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women Releases Report

On March 6, The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women made 38 non-legally binding recommendations, including that the Canadian government call an independent inquiry into the many cases of missing and murdered aboriginal women.
