Same-sex relations may have occurred throughout Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s two-hundred-year history, but their public acknowledgement began in the 1970s. This presentation is a pioneering exploration of a Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ topic that until recently has been largely overlooked.
Prof. Brian Lewis, Department of History and Classical Studies, has published extensively on British social and cultural history, with a particular focus on gay issues.
