 ll University\, has been invited to host a virtual seminar entitled\, 'Sow
 ing sustainable food systems'.\n\nAbout the speaker\n\nDr. Cortbaoui is an
  agricultural engineer\, food security consultant and project manager with
  a 15 year track record in providing solutions to alleviate food insecurit
 y in different regions of the world including North America\, Latin Americ
 a & the Caribbean\, Africa\, Middle East and Asia. This is done through th
 e establishment and implementation of pre-/post-production technologies an
 d sustainable food management strategies and programs that meet the requir
 ements of the producer\, the retailer and the consumer while improving res
 ource-use efficiency along agri-food value chains. He has wide expertise i
 n management encompassing Research-for Development\, Partnership Building 
 and Resource Mobilization\, Strategic and Operational Planning\, Communica
 tion and Outreach Management\, and Team Mentoring and Training.\n\nDr. Cor
 tbaoui received his PhD. in Bioresouce Engineering from Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾.
  His interest was to develop and validate engineering solutions to reducin
 g post-harvest losses of fresh fruits and vegetables thereby increasing fo
