Teaching Assistants

To be eligible for a Teaching Assistant position you must be registered as a graduate student at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾.

GPHL 301 - Introduction to Research Methods (EN / FR)

GPHL 302 - Knowledge Translation (EN / FR)

GPHL 500 - Critical Perspectives in Global Health (EN / FR)

GPHL 591 - Special Topics in Global and Population and Health 1 (Global Health Nutrition) (EN / FR)

How to Apply

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ student not currently employed at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾, must apply via . The website will direct you to create a Workday account. Please note, you must use a personal email address when creating this account. Do not use @mail.mcgill.ca or @mcgill.ca email addresses.

If you are an active Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ employee (i.e.: currently in an active contract or position at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾), do not apply through the Career Site. Login to your Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Workday account and apply using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar and search for "DGPH Summer 2026 TA").

Important Note for International Students

International students must have a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number to apply for a position as teaching assistant (or other employment on campus). To apply for a Social Insurance Number, you will need to present your Visa/Study Permit and a Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Employment Contract (printed on Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ letterhead) at your local Service Canada Centre. Please contact 514-398-6034 to obtain the necessary Employment Contract.
