The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ AMR Centre is hosting its 6th Annual Symposium on the theme One Health AMR. We are inviting you to join this in-person event to network and discuss antimicrobial resistance (AMR) related topics, AMR community research interests and needs.Ìý Preliminary program includes keynote presentations, faculty talks, trainee flash talks, career luncheon and poster session and new fireside chat with keynote speakers.

Keynotes:ÌýSabrina Sholts, PhD,ÌýCurator of Biological Anthropology, Smithsonian Institution will present "AMR, One Health, and Natural History" ²¹²Ô»åÌýEd Topp, PhD,ÌýResearch Director, Agroecology Mixed Research Unit, INRAE, University of Burgundy, will presentÌý"Role played by the environment in the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in plant-based food production systems"Ìý.

AMR Symposium - Call for Poster Abstracts

All trainees (undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate) are now invited to submit poster abstracts on all topicsÌý relevance to antimicrobial resistance research, from fundamental, applied, population or social science disciplines.ÌýSelected trainees will present 4-minuteÌýoralÌýflash talksÌýof their poster and be eligible for Oral Presentation Awards. Presenters must attend in person on June 8th.Ìý

Early bird abstract submission deadline -ÌýMay 15 at 5:00 pmÌýto be considered for flash talk.
Final abstract submission deadline –ÌýMay 29 at 11:59 PMÌýwhile space is available.ÌýPlaces are limited, submit early!
