Undergraduate Research Trainees (UGRTs)/ Graduate Research Trainees (GRTs):

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering welcomes both undergraduate and graduate students to join our faculty members’ laboratories for short-term research experiences.
During your time as a trainee, you may also be eligible for funding to support your research activities.

Postdoctoral Researcher:

Postdoctoral fellows may conduct research under the supervision of one of our faculty members. Applicants must hold a completed PhD degree.

  • The duration of the postdoctoral appointment (minimum 12 months) is established in a letter of agreement with the supervisor.
  • Extensions are possible upon mutual agreement.
  • The maximum duration is five years beyond the PhD award.
