DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2-hour introductory training on how data science 
 powers modern genomics and RNA research within D2R. After a brief overview
  of what “data science” really means in our context\, four short talks wil
 l highlight its key pillars: machine learning (Hamed Najafabadi)\, biostat
 istics (Josée Dupuis)\, ethics and governance of data use (Ma’n H. Zawati)
 \, and bioinformatics and computational pipelines (Guillaume Bourque). The
  session will conclude with an interactive panel discussion where trainees
  can ask questions and explore practical challenges in their own projects.
  This event is designed for students and fellows from all backgrounds who 
 want a concise\, big-picture view of the data science toolkit behind D2R.
