  Masters of Management in Finance (MMF) degree is a twelve-month specializ
 ed program in finance. The MMF program prepares students for a career in f
 inance through a comprehensive curriculum that integrates advanced financi
 al concepts and quantitative methods with real-world business practices.\n
 \nA unique aspect of the MMF program is that students work as analysts at 
 Desautels Capital Management Inc.\, a licensed and regulated investment ma
 nagement firm with an independent board of directors. Students manage the 
 funds of external accredited investors and learn by practice every aspect 
 of the investment management business. DCM has $3.5 million of assets unde
 r management\, and the new Alpha2 equity fund will be managed by MMF stude
 nts. Skills acquired at DCM are also relevant for students pursuing career
 s in investment banking\, risk management\, corporate finance and manageme
