Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a highly contagious sexually-transmitted infection, having profound effects on both men and women throughout their lifespan. It is estimated that 75% of sexually active Canadians will develop an HPV infection in their lifetime, with certain strains leading to more serious consequences including genital warts as well as genital and head and neck cancers. Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself from HPV related cancers and diseases.

The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Student Wellness Hub is hosting a walk in HPV Vaccination event open to students where they can receive a dose of the Gardasil 9 vaccine with no cost and with no appointment required . If you are 20 years old or younger you are eligible to receive the vaccine. For students over the age of 20, they may still be eligible under certain circumstances outlined here:

Come by March 26, Brown Building room 5001,  from 10:00 - 12:00 PM & 1:00 - 3:00 PM to get your shot on the spot! Your student  I.D. card or government I.D. is required.
