Nicolo Piazza
Dr. Piazza is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ and practices at the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Health Centre, where he co‑directs the Structural Heart Program and contributes to national and international clinical research in advanced valve therapy and transcatheter interventions.
Dr. Piazza completed his medical degree at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾, followed by postgraduate training in cardiology. He then completed a one‑year interventional cardiology clinical fellowship at the Montreal Heart Institute, a two‑year PhD research fellowship in transcatheter valve therapies at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, and a two‑year clinical fellowship in structural heart disease at the German Heart Center in Munich. His clinical and research interests focus on valvular heart disease, particularly transcatheter aortic and mitral valve therapies, and minimally invasive structural intervention techniques.
