Biography:
Dr. Andrew C. Karaplis is a graduate of the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Faculty of Medicine and completed his postgraduate research fellowship training at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently a Professor of Medicine at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾. Dr. Karaplis is an endocrinologist and a world-renowned expert in bone biology. He was the first to describe the physiological role of PTHrP in normal bone and chondrocyte development. Over the past 20 years, he has made numerous seminal contributions to this field.
