The event is also an opportunity to celebrate Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ students' efforts to foster Muslim inclusion within Quebec and Canadian society, and within the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ community. The annual Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec Memorial Award will be awarded to the 2025-2026 winner, Susan Aloudat (pictured at right). Ms. Aloudat is currently completing an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, with a minor in East Asian Languages (Mandarin Chinese) and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She chose to pursue this degree to contribute to greater Muslim representation within expanding globalizing forces that shape Muslim lives. As systems that govern our lives become increasingly distant and unfamiliar, Ms. Aloudat is motivated to engage meaningfully in processes that affect Muslim communities and their wellbeing.
