 e theme One Health AMR. We are inviting you to join this in-person event t
 o network and discuss antimicrobial resistance (AMR) related topics\, AMR 
 community research interests and needs.  Preliminary program includes keyn
 ote presentations\, faculty talks\, trainee flash talks\, career luncheon 
 and poster session and new fireside chat with keynote speakers.\n\nKeynote
 s: Sabrina Sholts\, PhD\, Curator of Biological Anthropology\, Smithsonian
  Institution will present 'AMR\, One Health\, and Natural History' and Ed 
 Topp\, PhD\, Research Director\, Agroecology Mixed Research Unit\, INRAE\,
  University of Burgundy\, will present 'Role played by the environment in 
 the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in plant-based 
 food production systems' .\n\nFree event in-person\, registration required
  - deadline is May 30\, 2026\, at 5:00 PM.\n\n\nAMR Symposium - Call for P
 oster Abstracts \n\nAll trainees (undergraduate\, graduate and post-gradua
 te) are now invited to submit poster abstracts on all topics  relevance to
  antimicrobial resistance research\, from fundamental\, applied\, populati
 on or social science disciplines. Selected trainees will present 4-minute 
 oral flash talks of their poster and be eligible for Oral Presentation Awa
 rds. Presenters must attend in person on June 8th. \n\nEarly bird abstract
  submission deadline - May 15 at 5:00 pm to be considered for flash talk.
 \n	Final abstract submission deadline – May 29 at 11:59 PM while space is a
 vailable. Places are limited\, submit early!\n
