Desautels to award Honorary Doctorate to Harley Finkelstein

�鶹��ý��վ will award 10 honorary doctorates during its Spring 2026 Convocation, recognizing individuals whose leadership, service and achievements have had a lasting impact on society.

Among this year’s honourees is Harley Finkelstein, President of Shopify, who will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the Desautels Faculty of Management for his contributions to entrepreneurship and community engagement.

A Montreal native, Finkelstein helped build Shopify into a global commerce platform after joining the company at an early stage.

Spirit Airlines collapse signals wider pressure on air travel
