Montreal Gazette - Pound heads latest slate of inductees

Former Olympic swimmer and International Olympic Committee executive Richard Pound topped the list of six inductees to the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Sports Hall of Fame.
Pound was joined by Redmen football all-Canadian offensive-guard Val St. Germain, distance runner Tambra Dunn, and soccer striker Brian Decaire, while former Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union president Bob Pugh was named in the builder category. Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s 1919 Yates Cup championship football team was enshrined as a team.
Formal inductions took place at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s SHOF annual luncheon yesterday to kick off this weekend's Homecoming festivities.
